  • If you brush twice a day using a pea-size amount of the gel, a tube of LIVFRESH Dental Gel will last about 4-6 weeks.

  • We have rebranded Livionex Dental Gel as LIVFRESH (Peppermint Non-Foaming), which contains the same blue peppermint dental gel as the old Livionex tube and the old LivFresh pump. It is sold in a new sleek pearly white tube with a green hue. Rest assured, it is the exact same product but with a different name and improved packaging.

• I have purchased LIVFRESH Dental Gel in a pump before and noticed that it is not available on your website anymore. What should I purchase now?

  • The LIVFRESH is longer available in the pump format as we heard from many of our customers that they prefer a tube as a dispenser. We value customer feedback and hence, LIVFRESH (Non-Foaming) Dental Gel is available in a new contemporary-looking blue tube. It contains the same blue peppermint dental gel that was there in the pump earlier.

  • Absolutely. It is safe for children to brush with our dental gel. Adult supervision during brushing is recommended for smaller children.

• What are the ingredients in your dental gel?

  • • LIVFRESH (Wintergreen Foaming) Dental Gel contains wintergreen flavoring, baby foam, aqua, sulfonylbismethane, edathamil, sodium bicarbonate, stevia, peppermint, menthol, FD&C Blue 1, natural gums and stabilizers

    • LIVFRESH (Peppermint Non-Foaming) Dental Gel contains aqua, sulfonylbismethane, edathamil, sodium bicarbonate, stevia, peppermint, menthol, FD&C Blue 1, natural gums and stabilizers.

    • LIVFRESH (Mild Peppermint, Non-Foaming) contains the same ingredients as LIVFRESH (Non-Foaming) but does not contain color (no FD&C Blue 1). It has a milder peppermint taste than Livionex and LIVFRESH Dental Gel.

    All three products do not contain any abrasives, antimicrobials, or parabens. LIVFRESH (Non- Foaming) does not contain any detergents. LIVFRESH (Foaming) contains a miniscule amount of detergent that induces the foaming. All our ingredients are FDA GRAS (Generally Regarded As Safe).

• Does your dental gel contain Triclosan, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS), or Glycerin?

  • No.

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS & TIPS

• How do I brush with the dental gel?
  • • Apply a pea sized amount of the gel onto a wet or dry brush.
    • Do not wet the brush after putting the gel on it because it will dissolve the gel.
    • We recommend spreading the gel on all your teeth with the brush before starting to brush.
    • While brushing with LIVFRESH (Mild Peppermint or Peppermint, Non-Foaming) , you might notice that the gel does not foam in your mouth. This is normal because there is no soap or detergent in the dental gel.
    • Brush normally and rinse as usual
• How long should I leave the dental gel in my mouth?

  • For best results, we suggest brushing twice a day for two minutes, and then rinsing as you normally would.

• Can I use an electric brush with the dental gel?

  • You can use an electric or manual brush with our dental gel. If you are using an electric brush, we suggest that before switching the brush on, you use the brush to spread the dental gel on all your teeth, before brushing like you normally do. This will ensure that you do not use up the pea sized amount of the gel almost immediately.

• Should I rinse after brushing with the dental gel?

  • Yes. While the dental gel is made of edible ingredients, we recommend rinsing as you would normally after brushing.

• Can I use a mouthwash or floss after brushing with LIVFRESH?

  • Yes.

• What is the best way to dispense your dental gel from the tube?
  • Store the tube on its cap to allow the dental gel to be at the tip. Then to dispense, tilt the tube sideways, open the cap and press the tube gently. When you are getting close to running out of the gel, simply store the tube in an upright position with the cap down between uses. This will allow you to completely empty it. And it’s a great reminder to order more!
• Sometimes the dental gel rolls off the toothbrush. How do I prevent that?

  • There are two remedies for this. After putting a pea size of the dental gel on your brush, don’t tilt the toothbrush. Alternatively, you can squeeze the dental gel into the bristles of the brush, preventing it from rolling off.

• Are there any side effects to accidentally swallowing the dental gel?

  • None. While swallowing is not recommended, all ingredients in the dental gel are 100% edible. All ingredients are on the FDA’s GRAS list.

BAD BREATH AND SENSITIVE TEETH

• I have bad breath. Will the dental gel help?

  • Usually, brushing with our dental gel should greatly improve bad breath. However, some bad breath can be due to systemic disorders and may require other kinds of treatments.

• I have sensitive teeth. Should I use your dental gel?

  • Tooth sensitivity can be caused by a stripping of the protective enamel on the teeth. We suggest using a sensitivity reduction toothpaste as needed, after brushing with our dental gel, until your enamel is restored.

INVISALIGN, MOUTHGUARDS & BRACES

• I am using Invisalign. Will your dental gel improve the odor in my brackets and mouth?

  • Yes. Our customers indicate that brushing with our dental gel can significantly reduce bad breath and smell associated with continuous use of Invisalign ® brackets. Please read our reviews for specific user experiences.

• I am using a mouthguard at night. Will your dental gel improve the odor in my mouthguard and mouth?

  • Yes. Our customers indicate that brushing with our dental gel can significantly reduce bad breath and smell associated with continuous use of mouthguards. For better efficacy you can apply a small portion (half a pea size) on the mouthguard after washing it in the morning.

• I wear braces. How can your dental gel help me?

  • The area around braces is hard to clean and, if not cleaned properly, can lead to problems like bad breath and white spots on the tooth surface behind the braces. Brushing with our dental gel will keep the area around the braces clean and minimize these problems.
